At EcoWatch, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our services and products. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures and guidelines for refunds and is designed to be fair and transparent.

By purchasing any products or services from EcoWatch, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.

Digital Products and Subscriptions

Newsletter Subscriptions

For paid newsletter subscriptions:

  • If you cancel within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • After the 14-day period, you may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds will not be provided for the current billing period.
  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

Digital Reports and E-Books

For digital reports, e-books, and other downloadable content:

  • Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final once the product has been downloaded or accessed.
  • If you have not downloaded or accessed the product and request a refund within 14 days of purchase, we will process a full refund.
  • If the digital product is defective or not as described, please contact our customer service within 14 days of purchase, and we will either provide a corrected version or process a refund.

Membership Programs

For EcoWatch membership programs or premium content access:

  • New members may request a full refund within 14 days of initial signup if they are not satisfied with the service.
  • After the initial 14-day period, membership fees are non-refundable for the current billing period.
  • Annual memberships paid upfront may be eligible for a prorated refund of unused months if canceled within 30 days of purchase.
  • We do not provide refunds for partially used membership periods.

Webinars and Online Events

For paid webinars, workshops, and online events:

  • If you cancel more than 7 days before the scheduled event, you will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 2-7 days before the event are eligible for a 50% refund or full credit toward a future event.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the event are not eligible for a refund but may receive credit toward a future event at our discretion.
  • If you are unable to attend a live event, you will typically have access to a recording, and no refund will be provided in this case.
  • If we cancel or significantly reschedule an event, you will be offered either a full refund or credit toward a future event.

Physical Products

For merchandise, books, or other physical products:

  • You may return unopened, unused items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price (excluding shipping costs).
  • Items must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition in which they were received.
  • Defective items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, replacement, or exchange.
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or was shipped in error.
  • Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund. Refunds are typically issued using the original payment method.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your order number, date of purchase, and the reason for your refund request.
  3. For physical products, our team will provide instructions on how and where to return the item.

Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit card refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your credit card company.
  • Bank transfer refunds may take 7-14 business days to process.
  • PayPal refunds are usually processed within 1-3 business days.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly on our end, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution's processing times.

Exceptions and Non-Refundable Items

The following purchases are generally non-refundable:

  • Gift cards or promotional credits (unless required by law).
  • Donations to environmental causes or initiatives through our platform.
  • Custom or personalized items, unless they are defective.
  • Services that have been fully delivered or completed.
  • Digital products that have been downloaded, accessed, or used.

Promotional Discounts and Free Trials

For services purchased with promotional discounts:

  • If a refund is issued for a purchase made with a promotional discount, the refund will be based on the actual amount paid, not the original full price.
  • One-time promotional discounts that have been applied to a purchase cannot be reused if a refund is issued.

For free trials that convert to paid subscriptions:

  • If you forget to cancel a free trial before it converts to a paid subscription, we may, at our discretion, provide a full refund if requested within 48 hours of the charge.
  • After 48 hours, our standard refund policy for subscriptions applies.

Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our refund decision, please contact our customer service team to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and amicably.

If we are unable to resolve the dispute directly, you may have rights to pursue resolution through consumer protection agencies or alternative dispute resolution services.
